A brief friendly sparring exchange with Nico Banash during the Swords of the Renaissance III in Potsdam (hosted by @SchildwachePotsdam) This interesting exchange offers a glimpse of what a duel between a Spanish or Portuguese diestro and a Mughal Empire fighter might have looked like. (Maybe in Goa instead of Potsdam). In general, the rapier has a much better distance advantage, but the tulwar has a fearsome speed and it's almost impossible to bind. This limits the rapier actions to basically thrust as cutting even as second intention actions is extremely difficult. An absolutely enjoyable exchange!
