The family of Chris Kaba have said they are dealing with the “deep pain of injustice“ after the police marksman who shot him was cleared of murder. 40-year-old Martyn Blake fired a single bullet through the windscreen of the Audi Q8 the 24-year-old was driving as armed officers surrounded the car in Streatham, south London, while he tried to escape. The jury deliberated for about three hours on Monday before finding Mr Blake not guilty.
