It was quite harrowing to come back into my old format content but I think I managed to shake the dust off my brain and remembered enough to survive another one. Now that Rooster Teeth is officially gone, does that mean I can adopt RWBY? Eh, who cares I'll take it anyway. Times have been hard, and discipline in my life pretty much disappeared after my badly needed step back from everything. This video, and the next are both intentionally exercises in regaining that discipline. Historically I haven't been one for storytelling really, this is only something I've come to understand over the last couple years and I feel that I still have yet to properly implement it in one of my own movies. The other purpose of this video is to recognize that Monty Oum was pioneered the idea of “3D Filmmaking“ or “Digital Filmmaking“ as being a one man band, a jack of all trades able to make his own movies with or without help. While still rare, digital filmmakers are more abundant now than they were when Monty started. So while digital filmmakers have risen and made content of much higher fidelity than Monty was able to make in his lifetime, I still believe we owe him the credit for being one of the first and the one that inspired most modern digital filmmakers, myself included, to take the chance to try it for ourselves.
