Let's start the restoration! This knife of the Soviet era, as far as I understand, is for cutting vegetables and fruits. The first duty, I finally used a sandblaster and cleaned all the rust in a couple of minutes! It's incredible, fast, clean and dry. Perfectly simple! Next, I removed the old rivets and started sanding the blade. After sanding, I degreased the surface and glued several different stickers, and then, using electrolysis, etched the blade and got a beautiful surface with interesting shapes, which is protected from rust. I made the handle for the knife from beech wood. I used steel rivets and epoxy resin. After drying the glue, I processed the handle, giving it the desired shape.
