Trans public defender shows up to court in skintight leather and no bra

That’s the edifying sight presented by 70-year-old Stephanie Mueller, a transgender attorney in Washington State who has made waves by turning up for work in less-than-appropriate attire. Footage from the courtroom shows Mueller in skintight leather pants, and nipples poking through a tight top – a look they had previously described as ‘very, very fabulous.’ However, despite the entirely unsuitable dress sense, Mueller, who transitioned in 2012, insists they are a consummate professional. ‘For 20 years I’ve been providing a significant public service to my community. I offer counseling and ongoing support to my clients accused of petty crimes, most do very well and do not re-offend,’ said the attorney. ‘Everywhere I go, people are friendly and polite. In the courtroom, the issue has never once arisen – as should be the case.’
