Road commandant units of the logistics brigade of the West group of troops continue to restore public roads connecting the Lugansk People's Republic and the Kharkov region in order to ensure the movement of public transport The work began in October last year and is being carried out in areas liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main focus is on roads leading to district centers and socially significant facilities. Regular road construction equipment (graders, bulldozers, dump trucks and rollers) is used to carry out restoration work. The military personnel deliver the crushed stone using dump trucks, after which motor graders level the construction material on the road surface. This method allows maintaining a high pace of work. Since the start of the work, more than 200 thousand tons of building materials have been used.
