These art critics are supposed to know a lot about fine art, but watch them get fooled by a piece of IKEA artwork. The hilarious prank from the Netherlands shows of a group of pranksters putting IKEA wall art on display in the Museum for Modern Art in Arnhem and gauging the views of gallery-goers. In the video, created by professional YouTube experimenters Lifehunters earlier this month, presenter Boris can be seen convincing patrons that it was the work of mystery artist 'IKE-Andrews'. The visitors seem impressed, with the piece drawing reactions such as “you can clearly see that it concerns a form of symbolism“ and it being described as “unbelievable“ - with estimated values ranging from the thousands to the millions - before the truth is revealed. The filmers say the experiment was to challenge what they call a “high class attitude about art“.
