When it comes to the Gettysburg battlefield, there's no place that's more important than Cemetery Hill. This is the high ground that the Army of the Potomac fought to defend and that the Army of Northern Virginia tried to take in July of 1863. It's also where President Lincoln delivered one of the most famous speeches of all time. While at The Gettysburg Film Festival, we received an invitation from The Adams County Historical Society to film a special moment where the Gettysburg Address was delievered with Martin Sheen, who played Robert E. Lee in the movie Gettysburg, and Sam Waterston, who both played Lincoln and voiced him in Ken Burns' “The Civil War“. Enjoy. This episode was produced in partnership with The Gettysburg Museum of History.
