Chris Barber Jubilee Concert 1994 - part I

Badner Halle, Rastatt, Germany, 1994 Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Chris Barber's professional band which was founded on May 31st 1954. The “1954 band“ would play the first half followed by the current band in the second half. Here we see and hear founding members Chris (tb), Pat Halcox (co), Monty Sunshine (cl) and Jim Bray (b). Lonnie Donegan was sidelined by a cold for a day or two so Johnny McCallum stepped in.
