This summer I planned to hike over a large mountain in remote area of Tasmania's south west. The river on the other side has an old alluvial gold workings. In the past prospectors have flown into the region via helicopter but as far as I know have never sniped for gold here. In this mission we trek to the farthest regions on an incredible journey to find gold.
