I was blown away with this rare find! Antique ¨la trompette medaille d'or 1878 dufresne¨ french chef knife 7 1/2“. It was made between 1870's-1890 in France. French chef knives, also known as “chef's knives“ or “French knives,“ are a type of kitchen knife that is known for its versatility and durability used by professional chefs. They are typically made with a high-quality steel blade that is sharp and resistant to corrosion. Same steel has been used for razor blades.
