Hieromonk Felipe Balingit was a speaker at the recent conference on The Ethos of the Orthodox Church sponsored by Uncut Mountain Press. He spoke on Orthodox Piety and Pietism. Hieromonk Felipe is the Dean of ROCOR Missions in the Philippines and a recent graduate of the Master of Divinity Program at Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary. Fr. Philip also has degrees in Philosophy, Psychology and Guidance and Counseling. Before receiving monastic tonsure, he taught at several universities in Manila, Philippines, as an associate professor of Psychology and Special Education. For over fifteen years Fr.
