Evil Spirit (2024) #bluesrock #garagerock #psychedelicrock DEAD WOLF was founded in 2020 by Dominik Wolf (Vocals, Guitar) and Martin Fehling (Bass, Guitar) (both ex-members of German Garagepunk group “The Vagoos“). Recently they were joined by Florian Strober on drums and they`ve just finished recording their newest (second) album „Evil Spirit“ which was released on 12th of July 2024 on vinyl via OFF LABEL RECORDS/BROKEN SILENCE. The music on „Evil Spirit“ turned out to be mostly pretty dark, slow and kinda brutal sounding and there's even a coverversion of Black Sabbath's ode to Mary Jane (Sweet Leaf), which takes the album even more into the realm of Stoner Rock and Psych - at the same time the band is sticking to their bluesy, loose and sloppy ways.
