Ben Shapiro: I think Jesus was a rebel who got killed for his trouble

What he actually said was that he believed Jesus was a Jewish rebel leading a Jewish rebellion and got killed by the Romans for his trouble (like other Jewish rebels of his day). The *implication* is that Jesus was a rebel (thus a criminal) who get executed for insurrection (a criminal act)...which, actually means he was a criminal who died for his actions. ...huh Also find it odd how a Torah believing Jew who supposedly holds sincere the faith keeps trying to have naturalistic explanations for miracles, but then again, he's also the guy who, during an interview with Jordan Peterson, said that the prophets were just men who could discern the changing times and predict what would come as a result, and he implied Christianity began with Jews being persecuted by Gentiles trying to convert them to Christianity. I don't remember him being so free to say all of this with John
