So we were at one of our local record emporiums, an amazing cavernous space with endless shelves of 2nd hand and new vinyl. Shopping there can be a giddying experience at times. We were in there to purchase a present and they had a lucky dip of 7 inches wrapped in brown paper for a gold coin donation. The trusty owner assured us that they were all gems, and I couldn't wait to unwrap mine, even before I reached the car. And here it is, Stacey Q.'s eurodisco (well of the American variety) hit Two of Hearts. Imagine hearing this loud and proud amongst the spiky haired, shoulder padded denizens of some basement club in the 80s. That scene in Madonna's Crazy for You video comes to mind.
