My trip to the last K-Mart in the United States (English)

Lyd Wetzel drove 9 hours to shop at the last K-Mart in the United States. The K-Mart in Bridgehampton, NY (on Long Island) is closing forever on October 20, 2024. Until 1990 K-Mart was a larger store chain in the U.S. than Walmart. At its peak it had almost 2,500 stores in the U.S. K-Mart's beginnings were in 1899, so it survived for 125 years before its last store closed.
