(without strap) The whole piece: 28” x 4.8” Bag size: 12” x 4.8” What you are gonna need: Tools: Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, oblong punch for buckles, pair of harness needles, waxed thread. If using rivets, rivet setter. Materials: For the top piece you need some pretty stiff leather so it keeps its flat shape and doesn’t wrinkle, I used 5 oz stiff waxed veg tan. For the bottom piece I used soft oz. Probably medium hand leather will also work quite well for it.
