While trying to film some invasive South Florida cichlids, I have discovered an insane number of Mangrove Gambusia (Gambusia rhizophorae) in the local brackish lake. While they look like wild guppies, these wild live bearers are in a completely different genus and do not cross breed guppies or mollies. Unlike the related Gambusia holbrooki, which are found in freshwater, Gambusia rhizophorae stays mostly in brackish and fully marine environments. However, I am sure they can be kept in pure freshwater
