On September 27th, 1984 Useless Pieces of Shit became infamous after playing a packed show held on the campus of the University of Arizona. At lunch time the Student Union held concerts from eleven a.m. to one p.m. called “Eat to the Beat“. At this particular show, “FOOD WAS THROWN… …FURNITURE WAS MOVED!!!“ The furniture was moved to make room for a mosh pit. The students who ran the concert series had never seen a mosh pit and were not familiar with what happens at a Hardcore Punk Rock show. When they saw over 200 people slam dancing to the whirling dervish of sonic mayhem happening on stage they freaked out. The next day . became the first band to be banned from the University of Arizona Campus! This is that concert.
