They look like small inflatable boats, he lifts one up to show the camera. He shows how small flaps on the underside of the boats move. We then see the man standing on the river with his feet in the floating devices. He moves his legs so that he appears to be walking on water. C/U of his feet in the shoes as he moves along. L/S of him walking on water - looks like the Thames. Funny, quirky stuff. Was item in Pathe Pictorial 283. Note: Joke in the title of the film presumably relates to Johnnie (or Johnny) Walker whisky.
