I love making cookies with an element of surprise - like these 3-D baskets that literally leap off the plate and hang suspended mid-air! Perfect for May Day (or if that's already gone by, a wedding or bridal shower gift), these baskets can be filled with anything reasonably lightweight, such as meringues, marshmallows, tiny candies . . . even wafer paper flowers, as shown here.
