Full title reads: “FIRST AIR MAIL PENNANT - Presented to Sir Eric Geddes by Sir Kingsley Wood at Croydon.“ Croydon, Surrey. A small table is placed next to a plane at Croydon airport for the ceremony of presentation of pennant. A man introduces Post Master General, Sir Kingsley Wood, who is to present the first air mail pennant to Sir Eric Geddes. Lady Wood and Sir Kingsley are seated at the table. Sir Kingsley rises to speak - he says it is a great honour to have a special pennant with Royal Crown and the words Royal Mail etc. He finishes his speech and Lady Wood presents Sir Eric Geddes with the pennant.
