Georgia On My Mind (sax cover)

Doing something here I don’t normally do… Actually, a couple of things I don’t normally do. I would rarely, if ever, make 2 posts with the same song within a single week…but I had so much fun arranging “Georgia On My Mind” for a guitar demo at Jaws Guitars last week, I thought I’d try it again this week on “Brigette”, my ‘73 Selmer Mark VI Tenor saxophone. So, I recorded myself a backing loop, complete with some intermittent guitar, and blew some stuff along with it on Brigette. And that’s the second thing I don’t normally do…subject y’all to my totally novice sax playing. Here’s the thing…I really love this instrument, so I’ve decided that in my retirement, I’m gonna’ devote more time to learning to play it. The best way to gauge any progress (hopefully) is to record myself “playing” and try to right my wrongs.
