The Ukrainian military reported that it had carried out a powerful attack on Russian military facilities in Sevastopol. The naval targets hit landing ships, communication hubs and infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. According to the governor of Sevastopol, this was the most massive attack in recent times. He also claimed that Russian air defense systems had intercepted over 10 cruise missiles during the attack. The assault reportedly used Storm Shadow missiles, which Ukraine had been supplied by the UK.
