Gleb Kanasevich - clarinets, recording, and mixing I recorded the seven parts over the course of 2017 and 2018, eventually tweaking the mixing to convey as much of the live psychoacoustic phenomenon in this piece as possible. For best experience of this masterwork, please listen in headphones at a high volume. This video contains a real-time spectrogram of the piece, showcasing the mapping of Calder mobiles over the overtone spectrum and how they expand and contract over time, as well as over the full range of the seven clarinets. The spatialization in the top right hand corner shows how the instruments are positioned and where the source of each sound is approximately located in your headphones. To read about the piece, check out the wonderfully informative liner notes by Radulescu from the 1993 CD here: Time Also, you can download a 5.1 surround sound mix of my other live performance from Qubit in New York, May 14, 2018
