“The Soft Hustle revolves around three seedy characters and their trials and tribulations on New York City's Lower East Side. The Businessman is the hustler with the sleazy charm. Everyone in his world has a neon target on his forehead, and he is determined to get paid. The Artist gets dealt a bad hand, and sells out his paintings to cover a debt. Two hookers and an eight ball later, he feels his luck may be changing. The Florist plays so many women he carries around a bouquet of flowers to appease the inevitable accusations.
