Last May, U2’s Bono and The Edge visited Kyiv at President Zelenskyy’s invitation to show their support for the people of Ukraine. A year later on May 28, Kyiv Day, Bono reads from the lyrics of Kyiv’s anthem “Yak tebe ne liubyty, Kyieve mii!” which translates as “How can I not love you, Kyiv of mine!” in solidarity with the people of Kyiv and the many others around the world who care about our great city.
