Moscow claimed its air defence units intercepted six drones bound for targets in Russia and the Black Sea overnight on February 25. Ukrainian forces reportedly withdrew from the village of Lastochkino in Donetsk Oblast, just a few kilometres from the recently captured Avdiivka. Russia returned the body of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny to his mother, eight days after his sudden death in an Arctic prison.
