Releasing the Lanterns at Maejo Temple - Loy Krathong - Chiang Mai, Thailand - November 16th, 2013

The lanterns are prepared and simultaneously released at a wat (temple) about 15 minutes north of Chiang Mai City. It was a beautiful night, and though we had seen hundreds of lanterns lit and let go before that point, we were in awe of what happened at Maejo Temple. Even after being in Thailand for more than 6 months, we had seen nothing quite like this.
