So a few weeks ago, I heard about this show on Amazon Prime and my interest was instantly peaked. My mind immediately went all the way back to like 2014... Back in my heavy YA bookworm years. Now, I had never actually read this book, unfortunately but it was always on my radar bc I did like this author. I read all the Delirium books back then and when I finished I started looking into other books by Lauren Oliver. Panic has been on my “to read“ list ever since. So, when I saw this commercial for this new Amazon Prime show, I was like “Oh my god! That's that book!“ And suddenly, I had to watch it. I'm glad I did. Bc I fell for this ship, and I fell hard. It honestly surprised me. When, I first met Ray I was not expecting there to be this much depth to this character (a testament to the writing as well as this actor! Bravo). I was convinced he was just gonna be the standard teen bully character. But, then episode 2 happened. His first interaction with Heather and chemistry these two have! I was generally confused for a bit as to whether or not I was even supposed to be shipping these characters but damn it, I already was. And their dynamic only got better from there. Seriously, if you're a fan of enemies to lovers ships, or rivals to lovers... you should 100% check these two out! You will love them.
