Vladimir Putin is taking part in the launching ceremony of the nuclear icebreaker Chukotka via videoconference The new icebreaker is being built at the Baltic Shipyard by order of the state corporation Rosatom and is the fifth nuclear-powered vessel of Project 22220. Its displacement is more than 33 thousand tons, it is capable of breaking through ice up to three meters thick. The vessel is about to undergo completion and sea trials.
