Victor Kuzmich Teterin was born October 25, 1922 in Bakharevo village, Tver Rrovince of the Soviet Russia. In 1949 Teterin graduated from the Repin Institute of Arts in Leningrad where he studied of Alexander Osmerkin, Semion Abugov, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Gleb Savinov. Since 1949 Teterin has participated in art exhibitions. He painted portraits, landscapes, still-life, genre paintings, worked in oil painting and watercolors. In 1949-1956 Teterin taught in Higher School of Industrial Art named after Vera Mukhina. His personal exhibition were in Leningrad (1966), and Saint-Petersburg (1999). Since 1953 Teterin was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. Victor Teterin died in Leningrad in 1991. His paintings reside in State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery, in Art museums and private collections in the Russia, France, USA, China, Italy, Germane, and throughout the world. LINKS: .
