Several shots of young boys playing football in East End alley, London. M/S of little boy called Alfie (the commentator calls him the champion centre forward of the future), he gets tangled up with the ball and falls over. L/S and M/S of Alfie sitting down on step holding head in hand as he falls asleep. The boy dreams about walking out onto the pitch at Wembley stadium. Several shots of Alfie kicking football along pitch towards the goal. He is chased by the caretaker. He manages to score a goal before picking up his ball and heading for the nearest exit.
