The two hero’s Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor are in Shera’s custody. Monica (Kim) is seen singing and dancing as a build up before they are killed. One a cop and the other the angry anti hero, both have a sword hanging on their heads and Monica cuts their ropes to free them while dancing around them. ’Andar Baahar’ is the story about a criminal Shamsher Singh alias Shera (Danny Denzongpa), who after robbing a bank refuses to part with the loot with his accomplice Raja (Anil Kapoor) and instead tries to shoot him, resulting in the two of them getting arrested by the police. While serving their jail term, Shera manages to escape and continues to evade the police dragnet. Futile attempts to arrest Shera compel inspector Ravi Khanna (Jackie Shroff) to let Raja out on parole to help him nab the culprit.
