It's powered by a lightly modified LS9 which makes nearly 800 horsepower to the wheels (approximately 900 HP at the crank). The modifications to the LS9 include performance camshaft, headers, ported blower and E85 tune. The LS9 is backed by a T-56 Tremec 6 speed manual transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear with gears. On the day the passes were made, the drag radials had seen better days, so we belive with a fresh set of tires the Camaro will make a 9 second pass.
