Released on Capitol Records USA (ST-797) in 1971 by the hard rock trio `Head Over Heels` this rarity has started to be recognised by collectors, a copy sold in 2022 for £358, the suggestion is that the `Red Capitol Label` design is the first issue, however both the Red & the Green labels were both used between 1969-1972 so both are very rare, the band split in 1972 making this worthy of discovery today! Why not subscribe as I post rarities regularly! Side 1 1. Road Runner 0:00 2. Right Away 3:27 3. Red Rooster 6:36 4. Children Of The Mist 14:10 Side 2 1. Question 17:45 2. Tired and Blue/ 20:50 3. (Thats What I Like) In My Woman 25:53 4. Circles 28:42 1970s hard rock power trio from Michigan led by guitarist & vocalist Paul Frank. This group from Detroit was formed in late 60s by Paul Frank (guitar, vocals), Michael Urso (bass, vocals) and John Bredeau (drums). After signing to Capitol, they recorded a self-titled debut at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, although a couple of tracks were recorded live at Detroit's Eastown Theatre. The album was issued in June 1971. The music is heavy rock very powerful in the vein of early Grand Funk Railroad, Cactus. Despite some positive reviews and various gigs (they opened for Frank Zappa and The Mothers at Fiilmore East in NYC) Head Over Heels didn't last much longer and disbanded circa 1972..
