We've all seen this video going around social media (shoutout Snoop Dogg) of an apparent kungfu master having zero defense against a professional kickboxer. Let's look at the full footage. Yes, they actually sparred for 2 minutes. It's not as bad when the full two minute spar session is looked at in its entirety. It is still a complete mismatch, but what most people saw on social media was just the last 20 seconds or so of the spar session. Shoutout to professional Japanese K-1 kickboxer Rukiya Anpo (安保瑠輝也 あんぽるきや) for setting this spar session up after the kungfu guy challenged him. And shoutout to Rukiya for taking on another challenger before this (yes, he had a 2 in 1 challenge that day). You'll see a little bit of that in my coverage.
