Recently, I have a lot of blacktop asphalt freshly laid down in my parking area of my home. We have never had the great pleasure of having a paved driveway before. At our last place, it was all dirt and rocks and mud - 24/7. What a great luxury experience to be able to drive my Semi Truck outside and on a smooth surface. It's a great opportunity to see if I can load my excavator that is 70lbs on to the trailer I have. I don't have a good feeling about it.. as the trailer seems way too small. We will see. Regardless, I want to take my 1/14th scale Radio Controlled Road Scraper and Vibrating road compactor - out to the sand pit and test them out. I have always read that the scraper will need extra help.. but that remains to be seen. If it does need some help, I'm sure I can come up with something. I thought I would try my hand at road construction. My equipment is quite heavy, and all hydraulic and electric. Everything is radio controlled, of course. Some of them are quite complicated.
