In this video I demonstrate the process of making a chest of drawers. I've had the idea of making such piece of furniture for a long time but only dared to give it a go now. I made the top from a rotten part of an old oak board that would otherwise have been burned in the fireplace. However, the epoxy resin soaked everything, fastened it and gave this wood a second life. I decided to make the drawers from ash. It is lighter in color, and the wood is strong and hard, hence the carving process took a long time. The outcome was definitely worth the effort. I still haven't decided where to place this piece of furniture, but Im quite happy to have materialized another idea that was brewing in my head for a long time. Today, it has been almost 1 year since my country defended its independence and resisted the Russian plague.
