Marc Nelson, a Philadelphia native, was a member of Az-Yet, and is currently a member of the R&B group Blayse. He was an original member of Boyz II Men, but he left the group to go on his solo career. He is the son of the late Dance/Pop singer Phyllis Nelson. As a solo artist, he recorded three albums, his well known songs was the cover of the Marvin Gaye song, 'I Want You', and 'Count On Me' in 1991, and '15 Minutes' in 1999. He has since been a songwriter for artists such as Toni Braxton, Brandy, Jon B, Tyrese, Tamia, Keith Washington, Aaron Neville, and Babyface.
