London 2012 Olympics: Epke Zonderland wins historical gold on the horizontal bar

Did you know that the epic gold medal won by Epke Zonderland during the London 2012 Summer Olympics was actually inspired by The National? Just before his brilliant performance on the horizontal bar Epke listened to his all-time favourite band to stay calm and focused. His exercise was regarded by many as one of the top performances of the 2012 Olympic games. Epke became the first Dutch gymnast ever to win an individual Olympic medal.
