Smoky Watermelon Lemon Margarita Ingredients 2-3 cups cubed watermelon 2 ounces mezcal or silver tequila 1/2 ounce Cointreau (orange liquor) juice from 1/2 lime 4 fresh basil and or mint leaves, torn 1-2 jalapeño slices 1/4 cup sparkling water, for topping CHILI LEMON SALT 1/4 cup flaky sea salt 1 tsp chipotle chili powder 1 pinch granulated sugar zest from 1 lemon Instructions To make the chili salt. Combine all the ingredients on a shallow plate. Rim your glass in salt. In a cocktail shaker or glass jar, add 1/2 cup cubed watermelon, Mezcal, Cointreau, lemon juice, mint/basil, and jalapeño slices. Fill with ice and shake until combined. The longer you shake, the spicier it will be. Strain into your prepared glass. Top with sparkling water, if desired. Garnish as desired with a watermelon wedge, lime fresh herbs. Enjoy! Spicy Gingered Mango Margarita Ingredients 1/3 cup 100% mango juice 1/3 cup fresh mango chunks 2 teaspoons roughly chopped ginger 2 ounces silver tequila 1-2 jalapeño slices juice of 1/2 a lime sparkling water, for topping (optional) CHIPOTLE CHILI SALT 1/4 cup kosher or margarita salt 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder Instructions To make the chipotle chili salt. Combine the salt and chili powder in a shallow bowl. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and coat in chili salt. 3. Combine the mango juice, mango chunks, lime and ginger in a cocktail shaker. Muddle together until the mango is mashed. Add the tequila, and jalapeños. Fill with ice and shake until combined. Strain into your prepared glass. Top with sparkling water, if desired. Serve with limes. Drink!
