Following the recording of their upcoming album 'Summer Wars' in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Boston post-metal purveyors LESOTHO endeavored to create a visual experience to complement the record upon it's release in August 2021. In collaboration with filmmakers Pine Street Studios and alongside studio engineer Alex Allinson, the band captured a scintillating performance of their captivating set, which includes their upcoming EP in full with an additional composition ('Crown of Echoes') as a special introduction. Not to be defined by the fallible nature of mankind and its words, instrumental triad LESOTHO follows the cardinal rule of metal - that there are no rules. For them, writing a massive song fueled by the raw emotion of the instruments, without a traditional verse/chorus trade-off feels natural. As such, their sound flows however it pleases. Due out on August, 20, 2021, 'Summer Wars' is a largely heavy and precisely orchestrated body of work. The album is driven by clean, emotive melodies juxtaposed against shredding guitars and thundering bass and drum work.
