Будучи ребёнком, она с родителями жила в блокадном Ленинграде. Женщина никогда не думала, что увидит боевые действия на улицах мирных городов ещё раз. Сегодня ей 87 лет, она живёт в Донецке — и снова летят самолёты, грохочут снаряды, семья разъехалась по всему свету… Но, несмотря ни на что, Лора Петровна продолжает работать на благо своего любимого города миллиона роз — так называют столицу Донбасса местные жители.
