Tekken 3 yoshimitsu vs Paul Paul Win Tekken 3 (Japanese: 鉄拳3) is a fighting game, the third installment in the Tekken series. It was released in arcades in March 1997, and for the PlayStation in 1998. The original arcade version of the game was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 as part of Tekken 5's Arcade History mode. The game was re-released in 2018 as part of Sony's PlayStation Classic. Tekken 3 features a largely new cast of characters, including the debut of several now-staple characters such as Jin Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu, Bryan Fury, Eddy Gordo and Hwoarang, with a total of twenty-three characters. “Yoshimitsu“ is a name used by the current leader of the Manji ninja clan, wielding a sword of the same name, head-to-toe custom armour, and a prosthetic right arm. In this way, there has always been a Yoshimitsu, from the 16th century to the present, in various Namco fighting games. Overview Yoshimitsu is one of the only characters that has appeared in every Tekken game as well as being featured in the Soul Calibur series. He has a different appearance in every game he is featured in, although his player 2 costume is pretty similar in all games he has appeared in. He made his first appearance in the original Tekken in 1994, in which he is described as a ninja from space. Fighting Style Yoshimitsu uses a quick fighting style with a lot of quick stabs and points to dance around his opponents. He wields a standard katana, which enables him to use his famed “suicide attack“. He is also equipped with a flag on his back in Soul Calibur, allowing him to hover for a few second above or over his opponent. Other aspects of his arsenal include the ability to teleport around his enemy and use his katana as a pogo stick to jump around and injure his enemies. Soulcalibur Story Yoshimitsu is the leader of the Dura-Anti Manji Clan. After his village is destroyed by a lord who he refused alliance with, he then attempts to fight the army and loses while losing his arm in the process. He then begins on the quest to obtain the famed “ Soul Edge” to get revenge on the lord and his army. When he finally reaches the sword, he realizes that he will be no better than the character known as Nightmare and there for does not take it. In Tekken 3 Yoshimitsu joins the the tournament in order to obtain Ogre's blood which is essential to his life. In his ending it is shown that he is with Doctor Bosconovitch experimenting with a rat with Ogre's blood. The rat grows gigantically and chases Yoshimitsu and Doctor Bosconovitch. Paul Phoenix Paul Phoenix is a character in the Tekken series. He uses the Judo fighting style, and is one of only four characters to have appeared in every Tekken game thus far (along with Heihachi Mishima, Nina Williams and Yoshimitsu). Character Overview Paul Phoenix is first introduced in Tekken and so far appeared in all installments of the game. He is determined to be the best fighter in the universe and is depicted as a hothead and aggressive person. He also has deep hatred for the Mishima clan and anyone associated with it. His also practices Judo in the game. He is also friends with Marshall Law and Forrest Law and trained with Lee Chaolan (hence some similar moves in gameplay). He is slated to appear in the upcoming installmen Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Paul in Tekken 3 For the second time in a row, Paul Phoenix got all the way to the last round of the last tournament, earning the right to fight Kazuya Mishima. However, due to a multi-car accident on the expressway, Paul was not able to get to the match on time, and was forced to forfeit. Nineteen years later, Paul receives an invitation to The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. Although he is now 46 years old, Paul feels that he is in the best shape of his life, and enters the Tournament, hoping to get the tournament win that has eluded him thus far. In Paul's Tekken 3 ending cinematic, we once again see him riding his motorcycle, this time along a motor cycle. He cuts in front of an oil-tanker, which is seen by a police officer, and after some arguing Paul receives a ticket.
