Wuthering Heights - Almost Lover

I've just watched this movie and cannot get it off my mind. It is so dismal and so sad but I think it ended in a way that made me really happy and content too. I hate that the two characters stupidity was the only thing keeping them apart; but that is what makes it so good. I don't think the song quite suits Cathy and Heathcliffs relationship only because I consider them to have been lovers. Everyone else they got with were the 'almost lovers'.
