“Midnight, The Stars And You“ is a popular song written in 1934 by Harry Woods, Campbell and Connelly. Today it is likely best remembered in the version of Ray Noble and his orchestra, with singer Al Bowlly. This version was famously featured in the infamous ballroom scene of the film “The Shining“, starring Jack Nicholson. Here, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks give it a play at the end of the night at one of their appearances at Iguana in New York City. Vocalist Richard Herfeld joined the band spontaneously to sing the vocal chorus.
