EP Introduction Human Instrumentality Project will release their debut EP The Brutal Angel's Thesis in 2021. This concept EP is based around ‘The Children’ and their struggles as they attempted pilot the EVA suits. Across 5 tracks and 5 instrumental versions of these tracks the band dives head first into the warped and twisted minds of the children of Evangelion. [I Need You](Instrumental) 09.第四樂章: Heaven’s Door(Instrumental) 空しき流れ(Instrumental) While the five tracks are all originally composed by the band, the concept and thesis of their EP are based upon the classic Japanese animation “Neon Genesis Evangelion“ . Each of the tracks deals with one of the 4 children chosen to pilot the EVAs - Shinji, Rei, Asuka and Kaworu. Through the lyrics and compositions we are given glimpses into Shinji's deep self-loathing and his perceived gap between himself and the world around him. Asuka's lyrics explore her deep seated depression and anger at the world while Rei's song looks at the pain and harm that a full understanding of the self can bring. Finally Kaworu's track displays the hopes and dreams that God holds for us. As for which track corresponds to each child, that's up to the listener to draw their own conclusions. Also included on the EP is the title track The Brutal Angel's Thesis. Adapted from the anime opening The Cruel Angel's Thesis. While it may have been 24 years since the original TV series ended, this track revisits the despair and melancholy hidden within that upbeat opening with a fresh sense of youthful optimism and hope. Just like the underlying message of Evangelion (most recently seen in the remake of Evangelion movies) even in the deepest sadness, hope can be found no matter how dimly it shines. As long as the world still turns, there will always be a tiny hope that can never be extinguished, all it takes is for you to extend your arms and grasp it tightly. “Boy, it's time to become a legend“. This exact moment ?“ “It is.“ Then, the Human Instrumentality Project begins —— Human Instrumentality Project are an anime inspired deathcore band from Guangzhou, China. Most of their compositions are based upon the animation “NEON GENESIS EVANGELION“ and by using deathcore, present the Evagelion universe across the canvas of their music. Their album and promo artwork displays a world that is distorted, morbid and full of mental pollution, where mankind breath a gloomy and dead atmosphere. Deeper themes of psychological breakdown and religious iconography are woven in tightly and all throughout and twisted into new musical DNA strands. By combining classical music as well as backing music from the anime OST with brutal ripping deathcore the band are able to capture the duality of humanity present throughout Evangelion. Human beings are always lonely, because there is an insurmountable “wall of heart“ between each other. But if our inner self can be the world is ours to destroy or save as we see fit——“Youth, become a myth!“ Social media: Weibo : @Human_Instrumentality_Project Instagram: @humaninstrumentalityproject_ Facebook Page: @Humaninstrumentalityprojectband Streaming platform : Spotify/Apple music/Napster/Tidal/Bandcamp/Youtube: @Human Instrumentality Project Website: Facebook : Bandcamp: Instagram:
