The Brave Locomotive - Opening Sequence Work In Progress

This is the work-in-progress opening sequence of “The Brave Locomotive“, a six-minute independent animated short film produced and directed by Andrew Chesworth, featuring music by Tom Hambleton (Undertone Music.) It was conceived as a love letter to the Andrews Sisters and 1940s animation. Andrew Chesworth developed the concept in 2008, and produced and recorded the music with Tom Hambleton in 2009. The complete animatic was storyboarded by Chesworth. Although the project was shelved in 2011 when Chesworth began as a CG character animator at Disney, it lies dormant with a wealth of materials to share.
