Captain Bruce Bairnsfather - who has given so much pleasure with his character “Old Bill“ - is seen in his studio looking at his paintbrushes. Presume that he is a cartoon artist. We see Bruce walking in the country with his drawing equipment. He sketches a tree. His wife is introduced, she steps from a car and waves. He waves and picks up his equipment. Chauffeur takes Captain Bairnsfather's bag and puts it in his car. Mrs Bairnsfather admires his sketches. Mr and Mrs go off to the theatre in the car. They arrive in a city. The chauffeur helps them out and they enter the theatre (not clear which theatre in which city). Was originally an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 286. Safety print exists.
